  Maria!! She was very welcoming and helpful. She was honest about restaurant recommendations, taxi service, places to venture out to, and renting a car to have the best experience in the island. One cafe/taverna she recommend was Anogi. It's not more than a block and the food is absolutely fantastic at very good prices. The light breakfast brought to your room is a nice touch. Don't expect a hearty meal, though. Breakfast is a sandwich, juice, bread and maybe a hard boiled egg. The location is good, as well. A short walk to the bus stop, many mini markets, the caldera view is basically right beyond the hotel property.

  The beds were hard and uncomfortable. The bathroom was small but had both a small tub and shower. The selection of TV channels was not terrific. Room 9 was right on the walking path so was a bit noisy and eating breakfast or sitting on the veranda was lacking some privacy. There was no wireless in the room and was spotty at best out by the pool.
